The March 2021 preliminary statistics show the total number of jobs increased by 640 in the latest quarter but remained 7,050 below the prior year. Private sector employment was up by 770 in the latest quarter but declined 6,590 over the year.


The Unemployment Rate in Guam for March 2021 was 16.5 percent, a decrease of 2.9 percentage points from the December 2020 figure of 19.4 percent and up 10.4 percentage points from the December 2019 figure pre-pandemic.
